Arsenal have decided to go all out to sign Spanish forward of Ghanaian descent, Nico Williams.
The English Premier League giants are reportedly ready to offer the youngster a huge contract offer that cannot be matched by any of the other clubs interested in signing the attacker.
Williams, who has been a long-term target for Mikel Arteta’s side, turned down a move to North London last summer.
However, with the player now open to a potential transfer, Arsenal are ready to make their move and in a big way.
According to Sport, the Gunners have tabled a net salary offer of €9 million per year, a figure that dwarfs proposals from other suitors, including FC Barcelona.
Barcelona, Nico would earn less than the €9 million Arsenal are proposing, with 17-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal reportedly setting the salary benchmark at €8 million annually.
The contract on offer from Arsenal also surpasses what Williams would receive should he opt to extend his stay at Athletic Club.
Despite the huge offer, Arsenal will need to convince Nico Williams to reject Barcelona and Bayern Munich to move to England.
