The second matchday of the UEFA Champions League will take place on 13 and 14 October, with several high-profile fixtures scheduled across the two days.

Atletico Madrid begin Tuesday’s programme at home to Manchester United, facing another English opponent after their defeat by Liverpool FC. The Spanish side will be seeking a response against a Manchester United team that opened its campaign with victory.

Arsenal will also be in action on Tuesday, when the Gunners welcome LOSC to Emirates Stadium. The fixture gives Arsenal the chance to build momentum in Europe against the French club.

Paris Saint-Germain, two-time European champions, travel to Manchester to meet Manchester City. Both clubs won their opening matches of the competition, setting up one of the most significant games of the second matchday.

Real Madrid are away to AS Roma, with the Spanish side looking to make use of the Champions League as they attempt to overcome difficulties in their domestic campaign.

The schedule for matchday two of the UEFA Champions League includes the following fixtures:

– Atletico Madrid v Manchester United – Arsenal v LOSC – Manchester City v Paris Saint-Germain – AS Roma v Real Madrid
