Arsenal express interest in Cameroonian forward Karl Etta Eyong

Cameroonian international Karl Etta Eyong has emerged as a transfer target for Premier League giants Arsenal following a strong start to the current campaign.

The 22-year-old attacker, who plies his trade for Levante has caught the attention of several top clubs in Europe, including Arsenal, who are keen on adding the forward to their ranks.

Karl Etta Eyong has racked up six goals and provided three assists in seven appearances in the Spanish top-flight so far, establishing himself as the club’s most potent weapon in attack and one of the standout players in the Spanish top-tier this season.

Under contract until 2029, the Cameroonian international was signed by Levante for €3 million from Villarreal. Etta Eyong embodies power and a goalscoring instinct, qualities that make him one of the best strikers of his generation.

Besides, fellow Premier League clubs, Manchester United and Manchester City are said to be monitoring his progress.

Karl Etta Eyong is open for a move as early as January, boosting the chances of clubs, who are keen on landing his signature.

Meanwhile, Levante are reluctant to sanction a move for the forward in the winter. The Spanish outfit will only transfer the Cameroonian after the 2026 World Cup, where his market value could dramatically increase.
