Abou Diaby’s unfortunate streak with injuries continues, raising doubts about his future in football. After returning from a long-term injury last week, the Franco-Ivorian midfielder has suffered another setback, this time injuring his adductors again. Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger broke the news during a press conference on Friday.
As a result, Diaby will not be available for Arsenal’s upcoming Premier League match against Newcastle United at home on Monday, for the 36th day of the competition.
The midfielder had recently made a comeback on the field, featuring for the Arsenal U21 team on Tuesday. However, his injury recurrence adds to the woes of both the player and the club.
