Arnaud Yao makes Morocco move after prolific Burkina Faso campaign

Arnaud Yao has completed a move from Burkina Faso to Morocco, signing for Hassania Union Sport Agadir (HUSA) on a three-year contract.

The striker will leave Racing Club de KADIOGO (RCK) after an impressive 2025-2026 season in which he scored 12 goals in the Burkina Faso Ligue 1. His performances have earned him the opportunity to continue his career in Morocco, where he will represent HUSA for the next three seasons.

Yao’s transfer was reported by Africafoot, with Hassania Union Sport Agadir securing his services after his productive campaign in Burkina Faso. The agreement brings an end to his time with Racing Club de KADIOGO and gives the forward a new challenge in Moroccan football.

The move follows a previously announced transfer involving TP Mazembe which ultimately failed to go through. That deal collapsed because of administrative differences, leaving Yao without a completed move to the club.

He will now continue his career under the colours of Hassania Union Sport Agadir. His arrival comes after a season in which his 12 league goals made him one of the notable attacking performers at Racing Club de KADIOGO.

For Yao, the three-year agreement represents a fresh opportunity after the unsuccessful proposed switch to TP Mazembe. Instead of moving to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Burkina Faso forward will now begin a new chapter in Morocco with HUSA.

The striker’s latest transfer means his next destination has been confirmed following the administrative problems that prevented the earlier move from being completed. Having produced 12 goals during the 2025-2026 Burkina Faso Ligue 1 campaign, Yao will join Hassania Union Sport Agadir with his recent scoring record forming the backdrop to his arrival.

HUSA will be his club for the next three seasons, while Racing Club de KADIOGO lose an attacker who enjoyed a strong campaign in front of goal. Yao’s move from Burkina Faso to Morocco is therefore now complete, with the player set to continue his development and playing career in the colours of Hassania Union Sport Agadir.
