Argentina set ticket prices for Lionel Messi’s final international appearance

Lionel Messi’s final match for Argentina will be played against Benin at the Monumental on 6 October, with tickets priced from 52 to 278 euros.

The Argentina captain is preparing to make his last appearance for the national team after announcing his retirement from international football. Manager Lionel Scaloni has called up the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner for the farewell fixture.

The Argentine Football Association has confirmed the ticket prices for what is expected to be Messi’s final match at international level.

Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, 22 September, at 18:00 through the association’s official website, according to French website Foot Mercato.

Prices will vary according to seating category, with tickets also available for 104, 185 and 260 euros. Children will be able to attend Messi’s final Argentina match for 17 euros.

The Argentine Football Association has also invited the members of the squad that won the 2022 World Cup to join their former captain for the farewell game.
