Antonio Nusa: Roma eye move for Norway winger from RB Leipzig
Norwegian-Nigerian winger Antonio Nusa of RB Leipzig is being linked with a move to Serie A side Roma as the Italian club explore wide attacking options this summer. The 21-year-old left-sided forward, who plays predominantly on the left but favours his right foot, has emerged as a potential target as Roma look to add pace and onevone threat in advanced areas.
Nusas standing in the market has risen steadily during his time in Germany, with his current valuation listed at around 32 million. Any negotiations are expected to reflect that figure, with Leipzig under no immediate pressure to sell given the players age and development curve in the Bundesliga.
Leipzig signed Nusa from Club Brugge in August 2024 after his breakthrough in Belgium, where he moved in 2021 from Stabk in his native Norway. His move to the Bundesliga saw a further jump in his valuation over the course of the 2024-25 campaign and into 2026, underlining his growing reputation at the top level.
Born in Langhus in April 2005 and standing at 1.83m, Nusa has built his game from the left wing, offering a direct outlet in attacking transition and the ability to cut inside onto his stronger foot. His performances for Leipzig over the past two seasons have attracted regular scouting attention from across Europe, with Roma now among the clubs monitoring his situation.
For now, Nusa remains an RB Leipzig player and is expected to be part of their pre-season plans while Roma assess whether to turn their interest into a formal approach.
