Antonio Nusa: Barcelona eye move for Norway winger from RB Leipzig
Norwegian-Nigerian winger Antonio Nusa of RB Leipzig is being linked with a summer move to Barcelona as the La Liga club assess wide attacking reinforcements. The 21-year-old left-sided forward, who plays primarily on the wing but prefers his right foot, has emerged as a target after establishing himself in the Bundesliga.
Nusa is currently valued at around 32m, a figure that reflects a rapid rise since his switch to Leipzig from Club Brugge. The German side moved for him in August 2024 after his breakthrough in Belgium, where his performances for Brugge pushed his market valuation from seven figures into the 20m bracket before his departure.
Since arriving in Leipzig, Nusas value has continued to climb, with consistent reassessments over the past two seasons underlining his development in one of Europes top leagues. His progress has drawn attention from clubs across the continent, with Barcelona now exploring the possibility of adding him to their wide options ahead of the new La Liga campaign.
Born in Langhus in April 2005 and standing at 1.83m, Nusa came through the system at Stabk in Norway before a move to Brugge at 16. A further step to Leipzig at 19 has kept him on an upward trajectory, and his dual Norway-Nigeria nationality adds to his profile at international level.
Leipzig are yet to indicate a willingness to sell, and Barcelona have not advanced to formal negotiations, but Nusa remains one of the Bundesliga-based attackers being closely monitored as the Catalan club shape their recruitment plans.
