Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo has reiterated his strong commitment to representing Ghana, emphasizing that he will always be ready to play for the Black Stars whenever called upon.
Despite the demands of club football, the 27-year-old forward considers national team duty a privilege and insists that only injury could prevent him from donning the Ghanaian jersey.
“I think the only thing that stopped me from playing for the national team was obviously an injury. I will always be ready to play.
I have always wanted to play for the nation. It is a dream to play for the national team, and it is also an honor to represent the country,” Semenyo told JoySports.
Since making his international debut in June 2022, Semenyo has become an integral part of Ghana’s attacking lineup, earning 21 caps and scoring three goals.
His performances have established him as a reliable option in the Black Stars’ forward line.
His unwavering commitment to Ghana will be welcome news for fans, as the national team continues to build towards future tournaments.
Semenyo’s dedication reflects a deep sense of national pride, ensuring that he remains a key figure in Ghana’s plans on the international stage.
