Nigeria midfielder Anthony Dennis is attracting interest from RB Leipzig, with the Bundesliga club reported to be monitoring the Göztepe defensive midfielder ahead of a possible move.
The 21-year-old, currently valued at around €5.00m, is being linked with a switch from the Turkish Süper Lig side to Leipzig, according to data compiled on 12 December 2025. The likelihood of a deal remains unclear, with the reported probability listed as “?”, and no agreement between the clubs confirmed.
Dennis, who wears the number 30 shirt for Göztepe, has seen his estimated market value rise sharply in the last two years, climbing from €25,000 in late 2023 to €5.00m by October 2025. Such rapid progression appears to have alerted Leipzig, who have a track record of recruiting young talents from less heralded leagues.
The Kaduna-born midfielder joined Göztepe’s youth set-up from HB Academy Abuja in January 2023 before stepping up to the senior side later that year. Operating primarily as a defensive midfielder and favouring his right foot, he has built a reputation in Türkiye’s top flight as a disciplined presence in front of the back four.
There is no recorded contract expiry date for Dennis at Göztepe, raising the possibility that he could either be available for a relatively modest fee compared with Leipzig’s usual spending, or even become a free agent in the future, depending on the details of his deal.
Having already progressed from academy football in Nigeria to the Süper Lig, a move to the Bundesliga would represent another significant step for Dennis. If Leipzig do firm up their interest, the transfer could prove a pivotal moment in shaping his career trajectory and his standing as one of Nigeria’s emerging midfield prospects.
