Ansu Fati opens up on motivation behind AS Monaco move
Spanish forward of Guinea-Bissau descent, Ansu Fati, has opened up about what motivated him to join French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
According to the attacker, his determination to fight and get back to his best level pushed him to move to the French giants.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, July 4, Ansu Fati said, “I am fighting to get back to my best level, and I am here to try to do that.”
Early this week, Ansu Fati signed for AS Monaco on a season-long loan with the option of a permanent move at the end of the 2025/26 football campaign.
He has moved to France after a tough last few seasons at FC Barcelona where he lost his place in the first team.
At Monaco, Fati is hoping to play regularly to revive his career. The club has provided him with the opportunity to show the world his quality and help the team achieve their objectives in the upcoming season.
