Anis Hadj Moussa: Newcastle United have made no offer, says Feyenoord winger’s agent

Anis Hadj Moussa’s representatives have denied that Newcastle United have made a formal approach for the Feyenoord and Algeria winger.

The 24-year-old has been the subject of growing speculation over his future after impressing for both his club and the Algeria national team. Several reports have linked him with a move to Newcastle United, but Mohamed Dahmane, Hadj Moussa’s agent, says there has been no official proposal.

Speaking to Maghreb-Foot, Dahmane said the player had not received an offer from Newcastle United or from any other club in recent weeks.

Interest in Hadj Moussa’s performances does exist, with a number of teams understood to appreciate his qualities as a right winger. However, none of those clubs has turned that interest into a formal bid.

Feyenoord’s sporting director has also confirmed that the Dutch club have not received an official offer for the player this summer. That statement follows the reports linking Hadj Moussa with a move to the Premier League and Newcastle United in particular.

Hadj Moussa remains under contract at Feyenoord until 30 June 2030. Transfermarkt values the Algeria international at 23m euros, while his annual salary is reported to be 490,000 euros, equivalent to 318,500,000 FCFA.

The winger’s form for Feyenoord and Algeria has helped fuel the transfer speculation. His performances have made him an attractive option for clubs monitoring attacking players, although the absence of a formal bid means his immediate future remains with the Dutch side.

Feyenoord are due to play Go Ahead Eagles in their second match of the Dutch league season. Ahead of that fixture, betting company 1xbet lists Feyenoord as favourites, with a home victory priced at 1.34. A draw is priced at 4.90, while a Go Ahead Eagles win is listed at 6.00. The company also provides an option to download 1xbet.

For now, however, there is no confirmed move for Hadj Moussa, either to Newcastle United or to another club. His long-term Feyenoord contract leaves the club in a strong position, while his agent’s comments have sought to draw a line under reports of a concrete Newcastle approach.
