Angolan outfit Wiliete Sport Clube de Benguela have reportedly secure the services of South African attacker Makhlatse Makudubela.
The 35-year-old veteran winger is heading to the Angolan top-flight outfit as a free agent following his departure from DR Congo giants AS Vita Club.
Makudubela previously played in South Africa for Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, and also had a spell in the Czech Republic with Karviná FC.
Makudubela, a former winger for Young Africans, made history as the first South African to play in the Democratic Republic of Congo [DRC]. He was also the first South African to compete in Tanzania’s vibrant football league.
After leaving Marumo Gallants at the end of the 2021/22 Premiership season, Makudubela spent a year in East Africa, where he quickly became a fan favourite with Yanga.
The experienced winger is expected to play a huge role for the Angolan outfit as the team gear up for the CAF Confederation Cup season.
With his wealth of experience, Makudubela will be a great addition to the club heading into the new football campaign.
Wiliete Sport Club are aiming to make a meaningful impact next campaign and will be counting on the veteran midfielder.
