At the age of 40, Brazilian football legend Rivaldo, who decided to continue his playing career with Kabuscorp in the Angolan championship, has suffered a setback. Following a fall in a match, Rivaldo sustained fractures in both shoulder blades, requiring a 10-day recovery period. With the Angolan championship nearing its end (one day remaining), Rivaldo has, for the first time in his illustrious career, expressed the possibility of considering retirement.
“With my injury, the season is over for me. I have to think about whether I should stop playing or whether I should come back for another year,” said the former Milan player. Rivaldo joined Kabuscorp at the beginning of the year, making 15 appearances for the team and scoring 11 goals. The 1999 Ballon d’Or winner has had an illustrious career, playing for clubs like Barcelona, Olympiacos, Sao Paulo, among others.
