Angola defender Bruno Pedro leaves DFK Dainava and becomes a free agent

Angola centre-back Bruno Pedro has joined the ranks of unattached players after leaving Lithuanian side DFK Dainava.

The 28-year-old’s departure was recorded on 7 September 2026, ending his time with Dainava after seven months. No transfer fee was recorded for the move, and Pedro is now listed without a club.

Pedro made 38 appearances for Dainava during the 2025-26 season, playing 33 times in Lithuania’s I Lyga and making five appearances in the Lithuanian Cup. He completed 3,034 minutes across those competitions.

The right-footed defender, who stands 1.85m tall, joined Dainava from Gibraltar club Europa Point FC on 1 February 2026 in a free transfer. Before moving to Lithuania, he had spent the first part of the 2025-26 campaign with Europa Point.

Pedro’s career has included spells in France and Lithuania. He joined Nevezis from Saint-Chamond in March 2023 on a free transfer, before leaving the Lithuanian club at the start of 2024. He subsequently spent periods without a club before returning to football with Europa Point in September 2025.

His earlier French clubs included AS Saint-Priest and Saint-Chamond, while he began his senior pathway after leaving the youth systems of Andrezieux and St-Etienne. Pedro joined AS Saint-Priest in 2019 after a period without a club and moved to Saint-Chamond a year later.

The defender’s most substantial recent run of football came with Dainava, where he featured regularly across the I Lyga and Lithuanian Cup. His departure leaves him available to join another club after ending his latest spell in Lithuania.

Pedro has now left DFK Dainava and is without a club as of 7 September 2026.
