Angers: Jonathan Kodjia Set for Move to England

Jonathan Kodjia Set to Join Bristol City from Angers

Angers – Jonathan Kodjia, voted Ligue 2’s best player for the 2014-2015 season, is set to leave Angers SCO for a move to Bristol City. According to France Football, the Franco-Ivorian striker will soon make the switch to the newly-promoted Championship club, which plays in England’s second division.

Kodjia’s impressive performances in Ligue 2, where he led Angers’ attack, have attracted significant interest from across Europe. The striker’s ability to score goals and create chances has made him one of the most coveted forwards in France. With his transfer to Bristol City, he will have the opportunity to showcase his talents in the English Championship.

The move also signals potential changes at Angers, as Kodjia’s departure could prompt the club to accelerate their recruitment process. The club is reportedly eyeing Fodé Doré, a potential replacement, as they seek to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
