Andrew Phiri: Zambia forward joins Nchanga Rangers from Hardrock FC

Zambia striker Andrew Phiri has joined Nchanga Rangers FC from Hardrock FC, completing a move that adds a new centre-forward option to the Zambian club’s attack.

The 25-year-old, who plays primarily as a centre-forward and favours his right foot, makes the switch after a spell with Zimbabwean side Hardrock FC. The transfer was finalised on 26 July 2026, with Phiri officially registered as a Nchanga Rangers player the following day.

Phiri’s arrival gives Nchanga Rangers a central striking option in the heart of their forward line, with the club moving to strengthen their attacking resources ahead of the new campaign. His profile as an out-and-out centre-forward offers a focal point in advanced areas, with the Zambian side opting to recruit from within the region.

Born on 21 May 2001, Phiri is entering what is typically regarded as a key stage in a forward’s career. His move from Zimbabwe back to a Zambian club marks an important step as he looks to establish himself in domestic competition and contribute immediately for his new team.

The deal sees Phiri leave Hardrock FC for Nchanga Rangers FC in a confirmed transfer completed on 26 July 2026.
