Andre Onana could be heading back to Inter Milan, with his representatives reportedly in talks over a summer move following his loan spell at Turkish side Trabzonspor.
The Cameroonian goalkeeper left Inter for Manchester United in 2023 but lost his starting spot at Old Trafford and was sent out on loan after being told he was no longer first choice.
Despite publicly insisting he has not completely given up on his United career, Onana is widely expected to depart permanently at the end of the season, and Inter have emerged as a serious option to revive his reputation.
According to reports in England, his days at Manchester United are effectively over and he will be sold this summer. The Italian giants remember how influential he was during his single season in Milan, when he helped them reach the 2023 Champions League final and is now viewed as a strong candidate to succeed Yann Sommer.
Onana has rebuilt some confidence at Trabzonspor, where he has lost only three of his 16 games so far, reminding potential suitors of his quality and big-game experience.
