Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has been awarded the Premier League Save of the Month for November 2024, thanks to a remarkable save against Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap.
The decisive moment occurred during a goalless match at Portman Road, where Delap found himself unmarked in the penalty area, seemingly on the verge of scoring.
However, Onana showcased his reflexes by instinctively redirecting the shot with an outstretched arm, preserving the clean sheet.
This recognition marks the second time this season that Onana has received the Save of the Month award, having previously earned the honor in September for a stunning double save against Crystal Palace.
With this latest accolade, the Cameroonian goalkeeper has now won a total of three Premier League Save of the Month awards, the highest number achieved by any goalkeeper since the award’s inception in the 2022/23 season.
Onana surpasses fellow keepers Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope, Aaron Ramsdale, and Robert Sanchez, all of whom have two awards each. The winner is determined by public votes combined with the assessments of a panel of experts.
