Fortunately, the latest updates from the Provence site provide a more reassuring outlook, suggesting that Ayew may have a “light contusion” of the fifth metatarsal, indicating a less severe injury.
Ayew’s last goal in Ligue 1 dates back to April 8, against PSG in a 1-2 loss. In a recent statement to the OM website, he shared his thoughts on his progress throughout the season, stating, “I had to find my feelings again, and that is the case now, as is my rhythm and my physical condition. So I’m happy with my progress since the start of the season, even if I know that I’m still missing a little bit to take a step forward. A goal could trigger a lot of things.”
