The Ghanaian Football Federation had sought an apology, and André Ayew has now extended it to Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah. This comes after the Olympique de Marseille midfielder expressed frustration upon being substituted during a match.
The coach conveyed on the Federation’s website, stating, “I received the letter of apology sent by Black Stars midfielder André Ayew. I would like to remind all Black Stars players that any act of indiscipline will not be tolerated as we focus on preparing for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.”
