Anderlecht linked with Leiria defender Victor Rofino in Belgian transfer move
Victor Rofino, a Guinea-Bissau and Spanish centre-back at Leiria, has been linked with a move to Belgian club RSC Anderlecht.
The 24-year-old is currently playing in Liga Portugal 2, while Anderlecht compete in the Jupiler Pro League. Rofino has featured in two of Leiria’s three league matches this season, completing 180 minutes and receiving one yellow card.
Rofino joined Leiria from Valladolid Promesas on 30 July 2024. He has since remained under contract with the Portuguese club, with his current deal due to expire on 30 June 2027.
The Madrid-born defender came through the youth systems at Leganes and Real Madrid before moving into senior football. He spent time on loan at CF Intercity and Real Murcia before returning to Valladolid Promesas ahead of his move to Leiria.
Rofino’s current market value is listed at €550,000. The reported link with Anderlecht comes as he continues his second full season with Leiria, where he wears the club’s number five shirt and operates at centre-back.
There has been no confirmation of an agreement between the clubs, and Rofino remains a Leiria player with three years left on his contract.
