Anderlecht hand long-term professional deal to Moroccan youngster Salim Ben Ali
Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht have officially secured the future of highly rated Moroccan youngster Salim Ben Ali after handing him his first professional contract with the club.
In a statement released by Anderlecht, the club confirmed that the Morocco U16 international has signed a long-term agreement that could keep him at the Belgian side until 2029.
“Salim Ben Ali , born on March 14, 2011 in Anderlecht, signs his first professional contract with RSCA. Salim has worn the purple and white colors since he was four years old and is therefore a child of Neerpede.
“Within the youth academy, he is known for his maturity – Salim plays above his age group. The Moroccan international (U16) was trained as a central defender but can also play in midfield,”Anderlecht announced on it’s website.
The club also highlighted that Ben Ali has been part of the Anderlecht setup since 2018, describing him as one of the academy’s own products after progressing steadily through the youth ranks.
According to the Belgian outfit, the young midfielder has consistently shown remarkable maturity within the academy structure and regularly competes in an age category above his level.
Anderlecht further praised the Moroccan youngster for his calmness under pressure, tactical discipline, work rate, and willingness to make decisive attacking moves during matches.
