André Villas-Boas can finally breathe a sigh of relief as he embarks on a new chapter in his coaching career. After being sacked from Tottenham Hotspur last December, the Portuguese tactician has found a new home at Russian club Zenit Saint Petersburg.
The news of Villas-Boas’ appointment had been circulating for several days, and it was officially confirmed on Tuesday morning. The agreement entails a two-year contract, covering the remainder of this season and extending until the summer of 2016.
