Anass Salah-Eddine: Roma’s Morocco-Netherlands Left-Back Linked with Olympiacos Move

Anass Salah-Eddine, the Morocco-Netherlands left-back currently at Roma, is being linked with a move to Greek champions Olympiacos in the Super League 1. The 24-year-old is understood to be on the radar of the Piraeus club as they look to strengthen the left side of their defence ahead of the new season.

Roma retain Salah-Eddine on a contract running until 30 June 2028, a situation that would likely require Olympiacos to negotiate a significant fee if talks progress. The defender’s current market valuation stands at around €12 million, underlining the scale of investment that would be required to prise him away from Serie A.

Salah-Eddine has established himself in Rome as a specialist option at left-back, with his performances in Italy attracting attention from abroad. Olympiacos are thought to view the signing of a player already competing in one of Europe’s leading leagues as a way to add experience and depth in a key position.

Any move would represent a major step for the player, who is eligible for both Morocco and the Netherlands and is entering what many clubs would consider a key phase of his career at 24. Roma, protected by the length of his deal, are under no immediate pressure to sell, which could influence the tempo and tone of any negotiations.

For now, Salah-Eddine remains under contract at Roma until 2028, with Olympiacos monitoring the situation as they weigh up whether to turn their interest into a formal approach.
