Anas Tajaouart: Morocco-Belgium midfielder joins La Louviere on loan from Anderlecht

Morocco-Belgium midfielder Anas Tajaouart has joined La Louviere on a loan move from RSC Anderlecht for the 2026-27 season. The 20-year-old central midfielder will spend the campaign with the Jupiler Pro League side before returning to Anderlecht at the end of his loan.

Tajaouart, who was born in Brussels and stands at 1.67m, arrives after progressing through Anderlecht’s academy structure and stepping up to the first team last season. His current contract with La Louviere runs until 30 June 2027, aligning with the duration of the temporary switch.

Rated at €400,000, the right-footed midfielder has already built up significant experience in Belgian professional football. He has made 58 appearances in the Challenger Pro League, scoring six goals and providing five assists, as well as featuring in domestic cup competition and tasting top-flight action in the Jupiler Pro League.

Tajaouart first broke through with Anderlecht’s youth sides, moving from Anderlecht Youth to the club’s Under-18s in 2021, before stepping into RSCA Futures in 2023. He was promoted to Anderlecht’s senior squad in 2025 and has also appeared in European competition, including Europa League qualifying and the Premier League International Cup at Under-21 level.

The loan agreement sees Tajaouart join La Louviere immediately, with the deal confirmed as a season-long transfer and a return to Anderlecht scheduled for June 2027.
