Anas Tajaouart: Anderlecht midfielder linked with La Louviere move in Belgian top-flight rumour

Anas Tajaouart, the Morocco- and Belgium-qualified midfielder currently at RSC Anderlecht, is being linked with a move to Jupiler Pro League rivals La Louviere. The 20-year-old central midfielder is under contract at Anderlecht until 30 June 2029, so any deal would require the clubs to reach an agreement rather than a free transfer.

Tajaouart, born in Brussels and now valued at around €400,000, has been on the fringes of Anderlecht’s first team after stepping up from the club’s development pathway last summer. He joined the senior squad from RSCA Futures on 1 July 2025, having previously progressed through Anderlecht’s youth and U18 sides.

The right-footed midfielder has accumulated significant experience in the Challenger Pro League, making 58 appearances with six goals and five assists, and has also featured in the domestic cup and briefly in European qualifying. He has so far had only limited minutes in the Jupiler Pro League for Anderlecht, with a single league appearance and a short outing in Europa League qualifying.

La Louviere’s interest comes with Tajaouart still at an early stage of his senior top-flight career, but with regular second-tier and youth international-style competition minutes behind him. With three years remaining on his deal at Anderlecht, his long-term contractual position gives the Brussels club a strong negotiating hand should discussions with La Louviere advance.
