Adel Amrouch, the Algerian coach of the Tanzanian national team, has revealed the reasons behind the defeat against the Moroccan national team with a score of three goals to none in the African Cup of Nations.
Amrouch stated in a post-match interview, “We made some mistakes, and the red card had an impact and settled the game.
We reviewed the footage, and it was not deserved. I do not want to delve into refereeing mistakes, especially with the presence of VAR technology.”
He added, “Nevertheless, the Moroccan national team did not steal the victory; they deserved it.
This is a logical result, especially considering that we played with ten players. I wish success to the Moroccan national team.”
The match between Tanzania and Morocco was marked by controversy, mainly due to a red card that Tanzanian players received.
