Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta has asked Egyptian giants Al-Ahly to strengthen their technical staff by recruiting an Egyptian performance analyst ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup meeting with Raja Casablanca.

According to Egyptian website Veto, Al-Ahly’s management is considering the request and preparing to review the CVs of several Egyptian performance analysts before selecting a candidate who fits the team’s requirements and the coach’s vision.

The move is part of the club’s efforts to improve its technical preparation and provide additional support to the coaching staff as the continental campaign continues.

Al-Ahly assess candidates

The report states that Al-Ahly will begin reviewing the profiles of potential candidates, comparing their qualifications before deciding who should join the first-team technical staff.

The appointment is intended to strengthen the club’s match analysis and provide the coaching team with additional resources to assess performances and prepare for upcoming fixtures.

Focus turns to Raja Casablanca

The proposed recruitment comes ahead of Al-Ahly’s meeting with Moroccan side Raja Casablanca in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Egyptian club hopes the addition of a performance analyst will help improve its assessment of opponents, identify strengths and weaknesses, and evaluate individual player performances.

The potential appointment would form part of Al-Ahly’s broader efforts to support the technical staff as the team prepares for its upcoming continental assignments.
