Ammar Yasser speaks out on struggles at Zamalek youth team
Ammar Yasser, a 19-year-old midfielder in Zamalek’s youth setup, has broken his silence on what he describes as the toughest year of his young career.
The promising midfielder shared his feelings on Instagram, revealing that he has faced unfair treatment since rejoining the youth sector over a year ago.
“I preferred not to speak recently because I dislike creating crises,” Ammar wrote, before admitting, “But every day it gets more difficult.” He explained that he has been treated “worse than the rest of my colleagues” and that numerous loan and transfer offers since last season were turned down without explanation.
Adding to his frustration, Ammar said he has not received any payment from the club since August 2024. “When I demand my dues, the response is that there is no money. The club is going through a crisis,” he stated.
Despite the hardships, Ammar continues to attend training, stressing that his words are not a complaint but “a simple clarification” of his reality.
