Amine Zoubir joins JS Massira as Moroccan centre-back signs through 2027

Morocco centre-back Amine Zoubir has joined JS Massira from Ben Guerir on a free transfer, strengthening the club’s defensive options ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The 26-year-old has signed a contract with JS Massira running until 30 June 2027. Zoubir’s move was completed on 24 August 2026, bringing an end to his two-year spell with Ben Guerir.

Zoubir was born in El Jadida and plays primarily at centre-back. The right-footed defender is 1.78m tall and has represented Moroccan clubs throughout his senior career.

Before switching to JS Massira, Zoubir spent the 2023-24 season onwards with Ben Guerir, having joined that club from Ait Melloul on a free transfer on 1 July 2023. His latest move means he has changed clubs without a transfer fee in each of his two recorded career transfers.

The defender’s recorded appearances include four matches in the Excellence Cup and two in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine, giving him six appearances and 540 minutes across those competitions. He has not recorded a goal in those matches.

Zoubir joins JS Massira at an age when he can provide experience in the centre of defence while remaining tied to the club for the next campaign. His arrival also continues a career spent within Moroccan football, following earlier spells at Ben Guerir and Ait Melloul.

JS Massira have secured the services of the Moroccan defender on a free transfer, with his contract set to remain in place until June 2027.
