Amine Rehmi linked with Beerschot move after Rio Ave departure
Amine Rehmi, the Dutch-Moroccan winger currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Belgian Challenger Pro League side Beerschot VA.
The 24-year-old right winger left Portuguese club Rio Ave on 3 September 2026 and is now the subject of a transfer rumour involving Beerschot. The proposed move would take the Rotterdam-born player to Belgium after his departure from Portugal.
Rehmi did not make an appearance for Rio Ave in the opening four possible Liga Portugal matches of the 2026-27 season. He recorded no starts, minutes, goals or assists during that period.
His exit followed a loan spell at Feirense during the 2024-25 season. Rehmi joined Feirense from Rio Ave on 2 September 2024 and returned to his parent club at the end of the campaign, before leaving Rio Ave the following September.
He joined Rio Ave from Dutch side TOP Oss in July 2024, having previously moved to the club on loan in January 2024. Before beginning his senior career, Rehmi was with SC Cambuur’s under-21 side and had spent time in the youth systems of Jodan Boys and Sparta.
Rehmi’s listed market value is €100,000, while his highest recorded value was €175,000. He remains unattached as the rumour links him with a move to Beerschot.
