Amine Gouiri transfer: Como linked with Marseille striker
Amine Gouiri, the Algerian-French centre-forward at Marseille, is being linked with a move to Como in Serie A.
Gouiri, 26, currently plays for Marseille in Ligue 1, while Como are preparing for the possibility of bringing him to Italy. The reported link was recorded on 10 August, although there is no indication that a transfer has been agreed.
The forward joined Marseille on 31 January 2025 and remains under contract with the French club until 30 June 2029. His listed market value is €28m, a figure that could provide an indication of Marseille’s valuation should Como’s interest develop into formal negotiations.
Gouiri was born in Bourgoin-Jallieu, France, and holds Algerian and French nationality. He emerged as a centre-forward and has a preferred right foot.
His only recorded individual honour came at the 2016-17 UEFA Under-17 European Championship, where he finished as the tournament’s top scorer with eight goals.
A move to Como would take Gouiri from Ligue 1 to Serie A, but the available information does not include a proposed fee, contract terms or a probability for the transfer. For now, he remains a Marseille player with three years left on his current deal.
