Amara Laghdef: Moroccan winger joins CD Tenerife B on free transfer from Irun B
Moroccan left winger Amara Laghdef has joined CD Tenerife B from Irun B on a free transfer, signing a contract with the Spanish side until 30 June 2028.
The 21-year-old, born in Casablanca and left-footed, moves across Spain’s lower divisions to link up with Tenerife’s reserve team, who compete in the Segunda Federacion Group IV. The deal was completed on 23 July 2026 and gives the Canary Islands club long-term security over the wide player.
Laghdef arrives after a season with Irun B, whom he also joined as a free agent in July 2025. His switch to Tenerife B marks the latest step in a career that has taken him from one of Morocco’s most prominent academies to the Spanish game.
A product of Raja Casablanca’s youth system, Laghdef progressed through the club’s ranks from the Raja youth sides to the Raja Casablanca U19s and later the reserves between 2021 and 2025. His move to Europe with Irun B followed that spell, as he sought regular senior football.
Comfortable operating on the left flank of the attack, Laghdef will now look to establish himself within Tenerife’s set-up over the next two seasons of his deal. His arrival adds another attacking option to CD Tenerife B as they prepare for the upcoming Segunda Federacion campaign.
The transfer finalises Laghdef’s permanent move from Irun B to CD Tenerife B on a free transfer, with his contract in Spain running through to the summer of 2028.
