Amar Fatah transfer news: Lecce step up interest in Troyes winger

Swedish-Somali winger Amar Fatah is being linked with a move from Troyes to Lecce, with the Serie A club emerging as a possible destination for the 22-year-old.

The proposed transfer has been given an 86% likelihood, while Fatah is valued at €800,000. Any deal would involve a player under contract with Troyes until 30 June 2027, meaning Lecce would need to negotiate a permanent transfer rather than wait for his contract to expire.

Fatah, who plays on the left wing and is right-footed, has not featured for Troyes in the opening Ligue 1 fixture of the 2026-27 season. His current standing at the French club comes after returning from a loan spell at Dundee United, which ended in May.

He spent the 2025-26 campaign in Scotland before returning to Troyes, having joined Dundee United on loan in July 2025. The move followed an earlier loan at Dutch club Willem II during the 2024-25 season.

Fatah joined Troyes from Swedish club AIK in August 2022 for a reported €4.7m and has since spent periods away from the club on loan. His market value has since been recorded at €800,000, down from a previous high of €1.5m.

Lecce’s interest would give Fatah the opportunity to continue his career in Italy, but the rumoured move remains unconfirmed.
