Amad Diallo highlights improved unity at Manchester United under Michael Carrick

Amad Diallo says the atmosphere at Manchester United has transformed under interim boss Michael Carrick, praising the manager and his staff for creating a tighter, more supportive group.

The winger stressed how much he enjoys playing under Carrick and highlighted the coach’s personal touch in dealing with the squad.

“I enjoy a lot playing with him [Carrick]. Honestly, he’s a good guy, talking with everyone, having good relationships with every player. That is something that helps a lot,” Diallo explained, noting how Carrick is always there in difficult moments. “Even when you are in tough moments, he’s there to talk to you, he’s there to help you, and it’s something that is very important. We are really happy to have him as a manager.”

Diallo believes the biggest change is the team’s mentality and togetherness in the dressing room. “In the dressing room, we are really together, every mistake is not a problem, your mistake is my mistake,” he said, adding that the players simply go again and focus on winning as a team.

He credited Carrick and his staff, including interim assistant Travis Binnion, for bringing that energy and unity: “They are really important for the team, and they bring that kind of energy to the team, and that is very important.”
