Canadian defender with African roots, Alphonso Davies has shared his excitement after signing a new contract with German giants Bayern Munich.
The player according to a statement from Bayern Munich on Tuesday, February 4, has agreed to stay at the club until 2030.
Speaking in an interview after signing the new deal, Alphonso Davies shared his delight, adding that he is determined to achieve more success.
“I am very happy to have extended my contract at this great club. I came to FC Bayern when I was 18 and just wanted to learn as much as possible every day to become one of the best in my position.
“Now I’m looking forward to another five years together. I’ve already achieved a lot here, but there’s more to come,” Davies said as reported by Bayern Munich.
Alphonso Davies is staying at Bayern Munich after turning down a chance to sign for record Uefa Champions League winners Real Madrid.
