The first football team of Egypt’s Al Masry Club is set to commence its preparations today, Thursday, within its training camp at the Military College, ahead of the upcoming match against El Gouna FC in the league, following their recent elimination from the semi-finals of the Egyptian Clubs Association Cup against Talae El Gaish.
Al Masry’s head coach, Hossam El Mahdy, granted his players a one-day rest period before the team resumes training at the Military College Stadium in Cairo later today.
The club is gearing up for the twelfth round of the league, where they will face El Gouna FC.
The match is scheduled to take place next Tuesday afternoon, February 13th.
Al Masry recently competed in the semi-final match of the League Cup against Talae El Gaish.
The match ended in a draw, with each team scoring one goal in regular time.
However, Talae El Gaish secured their victory with three successful penalty kicks against Al Masry’s one, ending the match with a score of 3-1 in favor of Talae El Gaish.
Despite the disappointment of their recent Cup exit, Al Masry is determined to refocus their efforts on the league campaign.
The upcoming match against El Gouna FC presents an opportunity for redemption and a chance to climb higher in the league standings.
With renewed determination and commitment, Al Masry aims to bounce back from their Cup disappointment and secure a positive result against El Gouna FC as they strive to achieve their season objectives.
