Alisson Santos has completed a loan move from Sporting CP to SSC Napoli, joining the Serie A club on a deal running from 2026-02-02 to 2026-06-30. The Italian side secured the 23-year-old left winger for a loan fee of €3.50m, bringing in a player whose current market value stands at €4.00m.

The agreement sees Napoli add a versatile attacking option to their flank while Sporting retain his registration, with the contract structured as a temporary switch rather than a permanent sale. Barring any new deal, Santos is scheduled to return to the Portuguese club on 2026-06-30, at which point his longer-term future will have to be resolved, including the possibility of him becoming available again should Sporting opt against an extension.

For Santos, the move marks another step in a rapid rise across Brazil and Portugal into one of Europe’s top five leagues. Born in Itapetinga and standing 1.77m tall, he arrives in Naples as a right‑footed left winger capable of operating across the attack. He recently established himself at Sporting CP in Liga Portugal after joining them from Esporte Clube Vitória, with his market value at the Lisbon club climbing from €2.50m to €4.00m in the second half of 2025, reflecting his growing importance.

Before landing in Lisbon, Santos honed his game in Brazil with EC Vitória and in the country’s youth structure at EC Vitória U20, while also taking in several loan spells. He was loaned to Clube Náutico Capibaribe and Figueirense Futebol Clube in Brazil, then to Portuguese side UD Leiria, where steady performances helped trigger a significant jump in his valuation, from €150k to €250k during his time there. A return to Vitória in early 2025 coincided with another major increase, as his value rose to €1.50m before Sporting moved to sign him.

Internationally, Santos’ dual nationality — Brazil and Tunisia — adds an extra dimension to his profile, making him eligible for two different national team pathways. At club level, his career has already taken him from South America to Europe, and this switch to Napoli extends his journey in a new major league. The transfer also shifts him from Liga Portugal to Serie A, with Napoli investing a substantial loan fee relative to his €4.00m valuation.

With his contract at Napoli fixed between 2026-02-02 and 2026-06-30, the coming months will be decisive. Strong performances in Italy could encourage Napoli to pursue a longer stay, prompt Sporting to integrate him as a key asset on his return, or bring other suitors into the race once he goes back to the Portuguese club at the end of the loan. What is certain for now is that Alisson Santos will finish this spell abroad under close scrutiny, as his short-term future in Naples may shape the next major step of his career.
