Alisson fined £8,000 by Football Association for post-match conduct

Alisson has been fined £8,000 by the Football Association for improper conduct following Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest.

The Liverpool goalkeeper was punished after kicking a referee’s board at the end of the Premier League match, appearing to express his frustration at several decisions made during the game.

The incident followed a penalty being awarded against Alisson in the 70th minute, when the score was 1-1. Morgan Gibbs-White converted the spot-kick to put Nottingham Forest ahead for a second time.

Liverpool eventually rescued a point through Victor Munoz, who scored in the 82nd minute to ensure the match finished 2-2.

Sky Sports reported that the Football Association had imposed the £8,000 fine on Alisson over his behaviour after the final whistle.

The result came in the second round of the Premier League, with Liverpool hosting Nottingham Forest. Alisson’s team currently occupy sixth place in the league table, while Nottingham Forest are 16th with two points.
