Rennes defender Alidu Seidu, currently undergoing rehabilitation following surgery in December, has received a show of solidarity from the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku visited the Ghanaian international in France, demonstrating the close ties between the national team and its players, even during difficult times.
Seidu, who has been sidelined due to injury, is in the process of regaining full fitness, with his recovery closely monitored by both his club and national team representatives.
The visit from Simeon-Okraku, accompanied by Black Stars management committee vice-chairman Stephen Appiah, served as a morale boost for the 23-year-old defender.
The meeting in Rennes highlighted the strong sense of unity within Ghanaian football, reinforcing the national team’s commitment to supporting its players both on and off the pitch.
Seidu, a key figure in Ghana’s defensive setup, has represented the Black Stars on multiple occasions and remains an important part of the country’s plans for future competitions.
While his absence has been felt at both club and international levels, Seidu continues to work towards a full recovery, with the backing of both Rennes and the Ghanaian football community.
His return to action will be eagerly anticipated by fans and teammates alike as he looks to resume his career at the highest level.
