Ali Machraoui: Tunisia striker joins Kalaa Sport on free transfer

Tunisia striker Ali Machraoui has joined Kalaa Sport on a free transfer from Grombalia Sport. The 30-year-old forward has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027 with the Tunisian club.

Machraoui, who plays as a central striker and is right-footed, makes the move after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season with Grombalia Sport, whom he also joined as a free agent earlier in the year from EO Sidi Bouzid. His arrival gives Kalaa Sport an experienced attacking option at the top end of the pitch.

Standing at 1.79m, Machraoui has built his career across a number of Tunisian sides. Before his recent spells with Grombalia Sport and EO Sidi Bouzid, he turned out for AMS Megrine and JS Omrane, having earlier made the switch from AS Rejiche in 2019.

Machraoui’s move continues a sequence of domestic transfers within Tunisia, with each of his club changes since 2019 coming without a transfer fee. His contract at Kalaa Sport ties him to the club for the 2026-27 campaign.
