Al Ahly have been boosted by the return of Tunisian Ali Maaloul and Moroccan Yahya Attiat Allah ahead of Thursday’s match against Enppi in the Egyptian League Cup group stage.
Ahead of the game, Maaloul, Yahya Attiyat Allah, and Yasser Ibrahim trained with the team and are now in contention for the game against Enppi at the Al-Salam Stadium Cairo with kick-off scheduled at 19:00 GMT.
The Al Ahly first football team resumed training this evening at Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium in El-Gezira.
The training session saw the promotion of a large number of youth and junior team members to compensate for the absence of players in national team camps.
The participating players performed various physical exercises before moving on to specialized exercises developed by the technical staff as part of the preparation program.
Al Ahly who sit 3rd in Group C with no point will hope to secure their first win on Thursday night.
