Alhassane Camara: Guinea winger joins USM Khenchela from Hafia FC

Guinea right winger Alhassane Camara has joined Algerian top-flight side USM Khenchela from Hafia FC. The 20-year-old moves to Ligue 1 after establishing himself in continental competition with the Guinean club.

Camara, a left-footed attacker who operates primarily from the right, was born in Kamsar/Boke and has already gained experience in both the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup. He has featured eight times across the two competitions, scoring once in the Confederation Cup and accumulating more than 500 minutes of game time on the African stage.

The move to USM Khenchela, confirmed on 21 July 2026, represents Camara’s first transfer away from his homeland. Standing at 1.75m, he will add pace and direct attacking threat from wide areas as the Algerian club look to strengthen their options in the final third for the new campaign.

At Hafia, Camara’s continental outings – including four Champions League appearances and four in the Confederation Cup – provided him with regular exposure to high-level opposition, underlining his readiness for a step into a more competitive league environment. His ability to cut in from the right onto his stronger left foot was a consistent feature of his performances for the Guinean side.

USM Khenchela have now secured Camara’s registration as their latest attacking recruit, finalising his switch from Hafia FC ahead of the forthcoming Ligue 1 season.
