Algerian international Yousri Bouzok delivered a crucial assist as Al Raed played out a 1-1 draw against Al Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League on Sunday.
Bouzok, who joined the Saudi club from Raja Casablanca last summer, continued his impressive form by setting up the opening goal of the match.
The forward’s pinpoint corner in the 64th minute found Mathias Normann, who calmly slotted the ball into the net to give Al Raed the lead.
The 27-year-old’s contribution appeared set to secure all three points for Al Raed, but Al Ettifaq responded late to salvage a draw.
Despite the result, Bouzok’s consistent performances have cemented his place as a key figure in the team’s attacking setup.
“Yousri is a player with great vision and technical ability. His assist was top-class,” said Al Raed’s head coach after the match.
Since his arrival, Bouzok has been a regular starter, providing both goals and assists as he adapts to life in the Saudi Pro League.
The Algerian will be aiming to maintain his influential form as Al Raed look to climb the league standings in the coming weeks.
