Yacine Brahimi has been crowned the BBC African Footballer of the Year 2014, succeeding Ivorian star Yaya Touré, who had dominated the award in recent years. The Algerian playmaker was chosen by BBC viewers worldwide, finishing ahead of Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.
