The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) announced on Thursday the departure of player Hicham Boudaoui from the national team camp for the month of March.
Boudaoui’s absence coincides with the upcoming friendly international matches against Bolivia on March 22 and South Africa on March 26, as part of the FIFA International Championship – Algeria 2024.
According to a statement released by the FAF, Boudaoui had joined the preparatory camp for the national team while nursing an injury. He was released from camp by national team coach Vladimir Petrović on Thursday afternoon.
With this development, Boudaoui joins his teammate Ismael Bennacer on the list of departures from the camp, returning to his club for further treatment.
