The national women’s U-17 football team of Algeria has commenced a preparatory training camp at Sidi Moussa in anticipation of the double confrontation against Benin in the World Cup 2024 qualifiers for the same age category.
The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) revealed through its official website that the Green Girls entered their third day of the preparatory camp on Sunday.
The schedule included a training session at 10:00 AM and an evening session at 5:00 PM, under the supervision of coach Wahiba Rahal.
The training sessions specifically focused on refining final touches, including shots on goal and crosses.
Several technical workshops addressing both offensive and defensive aspects were also conducted.
It is expected that on Monday, foreign-based players will join the squad to complete the group before heading to Benin on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
The upcoming qualifiers against Benin present a crucial challenge for the Algerian U-17 women’s team, and the training camp serves as a strategic initiative to fine-tune their skills and tactics under the guidance of Coach Rahal.
