Algerian international striker Moncef Bekrar, currently playing for New York City FC, has netted his second goal of the Major League Soccer (MLS) season.
On Saturday, Bekrar made a significant impact in his team’s match against Orlando City SC during the 20th round of the MLS. Coming off the bench in the 83rd minute, the forward scored New York City’s fourth goal in the dying moments of the match, securing a 4-2 victory for his team with his goal in the 90+4th minute.
This goal marks Bekrar’s second of the MLS season, having previously found the net against the New York Red Bulls in the 16th round of the competition.
Bekrar, who has been a crucial asset for New York City FC, has participated in 16 matches across all competitions this season, accumulating a total of 1066 minutes of playtime. Despite the limited minutes, his contributions have been noteworthy, with two crucial goals to his name.
