Algerian internationals Hicham Boudaoui, Billal Brahimi, and Badreddine Bouanani showcased their skills and form in OGC Nice’s first friendly match of the off-season. The Côte d’Azur club faced Lausanne Sport, resulting in a 2-2 draw, with significant contributions from the Algerian trio.

Back from their respective loan spells at Stade Brestois and FC Lorient, Billal Brahimi and Badreddine Bouanani demonstrated their readiness for the new season.

Brahimi, deployed in an unfamiliar role as a left wing-back by new manager Franck Haise, excelled by providing a decisive assist.

His performance in this new position indicates a promising versatility that could benefit Nice throughout the season.

Bouanani, introduced in the second half, made an immediate impact with a sublime through ball to Alex Guessand, showcasing his vision and technical prowess.

His ability to adapt and influence the game from different positions will be an asset for Haise’s tactical plans.

Hicham Boudaoui, a mainstay in the Nice squad, reaffirmed his importance to the team with a solid performance.

Operating within Haise’s 3-4-3 formation, Boudaoui displayed his usual technical ease and leadership on the field.

His seamless integration into the new tactical setup bodes well for Nice as they prepare for the upcoming season.

The match against Lausanne Sport saw an Algerian influence on both of Nice’s goals.

Brahimi’s assist led to the first goal, while Bouanani’s creative playmaking contributed to the second.

However, despite their efforts, Nice could not secure a win. Lausanne Sport managed to equalize with goals from Diabaté and Szalai, resulting in a 2-2 draw.

With each of the three Algerian players featuring for 45 minutes, fans and analysts will be keenly watching their development and integration into Haise’s system.

The upcoming friendly against Spanish side Deportivo Leganés on Friday, July 12, at 10:30 AM, will provide further insights into Brahimi’s new role and Bouanani’s positioning.

As OGC Nice continue their preparations for the new season, the performances of Boudaoui, Brahimi, and Bouanani will be crucial.

Their ability to adapt, perform, and lead on the field will be instrumental in Nice’s quest for success in Ligue 1 and other competitions.

With Franck Haise at the helm, the Algerian trio’s contributions could be the key to unlocking a successful campaign for the club.

The first friendly match of the off-season has set a positive tone for OGC Nice and their Algerian internationals.

Boudaoui, Brahimi, and Bouanani have shown that they are ready to take on the challenges of the new season, bringing hope and excitement to fans on the Côte d’Azur.

As the pre-season progresses, their performances will be closely watched, and their development will be critical to Nice’s ambitions.
